Information about Air Caraibes flights

Air Caraibes Airline

Air Caraibes is a French airline operating in the Guadeloupe and Martinique regions. Its headquarters is located in Les Abymes, and its main bases are Paris Orly Airport and Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport. Air Caraibes also operates regional flights from Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport.

Air Caraibes was formed through the merger of local airlines such as Air Guadeloupe, Air Martinique, Air Saint Barthélemy, and Air Saint Martin. It serves over 14 destinations in the West Indies and France. The Air Caraibes fleet consists of Airbus and ATR aircraft, allowing passengers to reach even more cities through codeshare flights with airlines such as Winair, Air Antilles, Bahamasair, and French Bee.

Air Caraibes Check-In

Air Caraibes offers passengers both online check-in and airport check-in. Online check-in begins 48 hours before departure and ends one hour before departure.

Airport check-in times vary depending on the flight's destination. For transatlantic flights, check-in starts two hours before departure and ends 30 minutes before departure. For short and medium-haul flights, check-in times may vary. Passengers traveling with children, pets, or oversized luggage must check-in at the airport.

Air Caraibes Baggage

Air Caraibes allows each passenger to carry one piece of hand luggage with maximum dimensions and a weight of 12 kg in the cabin. These regulations may vary for long-haul and regional flights.

The regular checked baggage allowance depends on the flight route and ticket class. Economy class passengers are entitled to one or two pieces of baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg, while Premium and Business class passengers can carry more pieces of baggage. Additional baggage and excess baggage may require miles or additional fees.

Air Caraibes Seat Selection

Air Caraibes offers various seat options depending on the booking class, including Economy, Premium, and Business class. Passengers can choose between standard seats, window seats, or aisle seats during the check-in and reservation process. Each class offers special seats with extra legroom, for which additional fees may apply. Seats near emergency exits can only be selected by individuals with certain characteristics.

Air Caraibes Legroom

In Air Caraibes' Economy class, the seat pitch is 81 cm and the seat width is 42 cm. In Premium class, the seat pitch is 89 cm and the seat width is 45 cm. Business class offers fully flat seats with a seat pitch of 155 cm. In each class, seats with extra legroom can be selected for an additional fee.

Air Caraibes offers passengers on transatlantic flights two hot meals (lunch and dinner) regardless of the booked class. Passengers traveling to other destinations can choose from a variety of French and international cuisine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks from the onboard sales menu.

Passengers with special dietary needs such as baby food, children's menus, vegetarian or vegan meals, diet-specific meals, or religious meals should notify the airline at least 48 hours before the flight. Only one special meal is prepared per passenger.
