Japan Airlines Online Check-in

Passengers traveling with Japan Airlines can check in online between 72 hours and 60 minutes before the flight (excluding charter flights). For online check-in, you will need your booking number and passport. You can then print your boarding pass in PDF format. With the JAL app, you can receive your mobile boarding pass directly on your smartphone. During online check-in, you can also select your seat. Some airports offer self-service terminals in addition to the check-in counter. You can obtain your boarding pass directly from these terminals and drop off your luggage at the drop-off counters. Japan Airlines Carry-on Baggage

Business class passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of carry-on baggage. The dimensions of each piece must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (height x width x depth). The total weight must not exceed 10 kg.

Economy class passengers are allowed to bring 1 piece of carry-on baggage. The dimensions of the carry-on baggage must also not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm, and the weight must not exceed 7 kg.

Each passenger is also allowed to carry one personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, etc.) that should fit under the seat.

Japan Airlines Checked Baggage

Business class passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of checked baggage. The dimensions of each piece must not exceed a total of 158 cm (height + width + depth). Each piece must not exceed a weight of 32 kg.

Premium Economy class passengers are allowed to bring 2 pieces of checked baggage. The dimensions of each piece must not exceed a total of 158 cm (height + width + depth). Each piece must not exceed a weight of 23 kg.

Economy class passengers are allowed to bring 1 piece of checked baggage. The dimensions of the baggage must not exceed a total of 158 cm (height + width + depth). The weight of the baggage must not exceed 23 kg.

Passengers traveling with an infant are allowed to bring 1 stroller and 1 baby food.
