Wizzair is a Hungarian low cost airline based in Budapest and is the largest airline in Hungary. With 32 bases, it is the most important low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe. Wizzair was founded in July 2003 by Jozsef Varadi. As of June 2020, Wizzair's fleet consists of 122 Airbus brand aircraft with an average age of 5.9 years.

Wizz Air Baggage

At the time of booking with MartiGO, you can book your additional luggage.
The luggage may not exceed the dimensions of 149 x 119 x 171 cm (W x H x L). Wizzair offers three options: 10 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg.

Wizz Air Carry-on Baggage

The maximum dimensions must not exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm and a maximum permissible weight of 10 kg.

Wizz Air Online Check-in

Online check-in is only available for some flight routes. Online check-in is open between 30 days and 3 hours before departure if you have reserved a seat when booking. If not, check-in is possible 48 hours before departure.

Wizz Air Airport Check-in

Generally, airport check-in at Wizzair is subject to charges. If online check-in is not possible, check-in at the airport is free of charge. Baggage check-in generally closes 40 minutes before departure. In some cases earlier, so MartiGO recommends that you allow more time at the airport.
